Hertfordshire hosts a variety of beautiful and luxurious wedding venues making it the ideal place for your wedding. As a Hertfordshire wedding photographer and videographer, we have been grateful to have photographed at many of these historic wedding venues. Many of our weddings have been filmed and photographed at Fanhams Hall in Ware, a stunning country house with breathtaking gardens, no matter what season it is there is always something to provide a beautiful backdrop to your photographs and films. Inside is very traditional and somehow cozy with a modern feel at the back of the venue.
Sopwell House in St Albans is a more modern wedding venue and hotel with a touch of class and the ability to accommodate large numbers of your guests. There are large ballrooms for your wedding reception and if the weather is on your side a pretty Gazebo in the gardens provides a beautiful location for your wedding ceremony.
Coltsfoot Country Retreat is a stunning boutique wedding venue set in a Hamlet and surrounded by acres of Beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, it’s more of an intimate wedding venue and their food is absolutely stunning. They even have Alpakas where you can go and feed them with your wedding party.
Ashridge House makes you feel like royalty due to its spectacular grade I listed a stately home surrounded by luscious green fields and trees. It has amazing gothic architecture, grand turreted facades, and historic gardens. The stairway in the main hallway is iconic for your photographs and many people opt to have their ceremony here as it’s extremely cinematic.
