WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?

Morning Preparations – We like to start with your bridal and groom prep. to capture the day as it unfolds – usually 1-2 hours depending on location and timings of the day.
It is not always easy to capture both parties getting ready in separate locations when both parties are further than a 20-to 30-minute drive.

Ceremony – We need to be at the ceremony location at least 30 mins before before it starts to set up and make the most of the space for photos and filming. This may mean we miss you getting into your wedding dress if the time is tight.
Video – we try to set up 3 cameras for different angles to get the best of the location and views, as well as both of you.
We aim to be as unobtrusive as possible during the ceremony.

Post Ceremony – For standard wedding venue locations – After confetti, we capture your family’s formal list of photographs. We like to get this done asap before people start dispersing through the venue. After a break and time with your guests, we can explore the grounds/location to get some natural portrait shots before you get called in for the wedding breakfast.

Speeches- We capture the speeches for video on 3 cameras, and sound is very important for the films, so we will arrange this before they start.

Wedding Breakfast – We have our break when you eat, refresh and back up our footage/images, etc. If there is entertainment during this time, we will capture part of it.

Golden Hour pics – In the Summer we are blessed with longer daylight hours and sometimes a lovely golden hour where we can get the main couple’s pictures taken.

First Dance – We capture your first dance with at least 2-3 cameras for video and get a mix of angles, etc. for photos. We stay around 15 -20 minutes post the first dance to get lots of dancing pics.
